Tantalum can be manufactured into welded tubing and seamless tubing, which are widely used in electronics, semiconductor, chemical, engineering, aviation, aerospace, medical, military industry.

We produce RO5200, RO5400 with different dimensions of the tantalum semless tubes. Our tantalum welded tubes offer significantly better wall thickness and concentricity control compared to seamless tubes. wall thicknesses are specified to be as thin as structural conditions will permit.

The process of Seamless Tube/Pipe is Fit for mass production, the advantages and disadvantages are as below:

Advantages:

  • Available to produce small specification tubes/pipes and capillary tube/pipe
  • Excellent flexibility, available to produce various of specifications but small quantity products
  • Uniform performance of the whole tube/pipe

Disadvantages:

  • Uniformity of the wall thickness is difficult to control
  • Longer productivity term but lower finished products rate
  • Complexed equipment requires high investment capital
  • Hard to product large diameter tube/pipe
