Niobium Nickel Alloy

Intermediate alloy is a kind of special alloy with one metal as base metal compound with one or more substances , which is aim to solve the problem such as the substance is easy to burn out; high melting point doesn’t melt easily; high density is liable to segregate etc. and also to improve the properties of alloys. Intermediate alloy is a kind of additive functional material. Nickel-based alloy refers to a kind of alloy which has high strength and certain anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance at 650~1000 °C. Niobium can increase the strength and hardness of Nickel-based alloy, meanwhile, it also enhance the plasticity and tenacity of Nickel-based alloy. Vacuum niobium nickel alloys replace niobium bars to smelt and cast superalloy not only decrease the element content of N and O in cast superalloy but also lower down the production costs better. The melting point of vacuum nickel and niobium alloy is merely 1380, while the meting point of niobium bars is as high as 2497
