Intermediate alloy is a kind of special alloy with one metal as base metal compound with one or more substances , which is aim to solve the problem such as the substance is easy to burn out; high melting point doesn’t melt easily; high density is liable to segregate etc. and also to improve the properties of alloys. Intermediate alloy is a kind of additive functional material. Nickel-based alloy refers to a kind of alloy which has high strength and certain anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance at 650~1000 °C. Niobium can increase the strength and hardness of Nickel-based alloy, meanwhile, it also enhance the plasticity and tenacity of Nickel-based alloy. Vacuum niobium nickel alloys replace niobium bars to smelt and cast superalloy not only decrease the element content of N and O in cast superalloy but also lower down the production costs better. The melting point of vacuum nickel and niobium alloy is merely 1380℃, while the meting point of niobium bars is as high as 2497℃
